We want children to value coming to church. Each Sunday, your children can gather with others in their age group for Bible lessons and fun activities. Learn more about what to expect on a Sunday morning below.
Preschoolers may attend their own group while parents attend the 10:45 a.m. worship service. During this time, children will engage in age-appropriate Bible study, activities/games, and music focused on a different Bible story each week. (Teachers prepare to teach using storybook Bibles, such as The Jesus Storybook Bible and Tiny Truths.
Upon arrival, an usher will greet you and direct you to the correct classroom for your child. There you will fill out a registration form that will give us your basic information including name, address, and date of birth of each child, emergency contacts, allergies, etc. Once you complete the registration form you will fill out a set of security name tags. Your child will wear one of the name tags and then you will present the second name tag when you return to pick up your child.
When your child is on the campus of our church, his or her safety is our top priority. We work very hard to have plans and procedures in place to create a safe, secure and welcoming environment for your family.
We use security name tags to help with drop-off and pick-up of all children from birth-Grade 5. Each week a new set of name tags will be available with your child’s name and class assignment on them. Place one name tag on your child and keep the other one with you to use to pick-up your child. Name tags must be worn by the child at all times and must be presented to the teacher during pick up to ensure safety.
