Chris is the Minister of Discipleship and Connection for the Woodbine campus. He grew up in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where the majority of his family still resides. Chris graduated from Oklahoma Baptist University with a degree in Biblical Studies and Business. He also holds a Master of Divinity from Western Seminary in Portland, Oregon.
Prior to joining the Woodbine staff, Chris spent almost seven years with Community Health Systems. He has served on staff at churches in Texas, Oklahoma, and Oregon. Chris has spent time working for Lifeway, Operation Christmas Child, and helped with the start of three different church plants. His most random work experience includes a stint as a school bus driver and commercial salmon fisherman in Alaska.
Chris ran track in college and still enjoys running a couple of days a week. He resides in the Crieve Hall area, where he enjoys taking part in all things home repair. Chris loves being around people who live from the heart. His favorite thing to do is sit down one-on-one and have an honest conversation.
